Arun Jyoti envisages ABHYUDAYA – equitable raising of all sections of the society identifying potential, creative leaders from within the society it serves. Since society is multi dimensional, these creative leaders will also have to be drawn from different walks of life. Hence Arun Jyoti work is classified under the Panch Mancha-s. The Cumulative effect of these Manch-s is to create a great socio-cultural awakening that recognizes and projects the unity behind the apparent but essential variety of our National life.
The bharatiya system of Health care takes into account the existence of layers of existence beyond the material. Hence health necessarily has to be on all levels. Arun Jyoti activities seek to promote proper health care for the society.

Motherliness, hardwork, sacrifice, intelligence, and sense of responsibility are the characteristics of Indian women. Systematic onslaught on these qualities, primary to her physical attributes are degrading women to commodity value rather than upholding the grand ideal of Hindu womanhood – the mother – the first Guru of the family. Since the socio-economic, culture health of the society itself rests with women, Arun Jyoti organizes Mahila Jagrati Shivirs and Matra Sammelans. These camps are meant to both empower women and make them play a more conscious role in developing the society.
Last year a new chapter was added to Arun Jyoti activities when its co-ordinated efforts with the Vivekanada Kendra institute of culture, Guwahati and the people of Arunachal resulted in two Seminars. Seminars of this kind help in documenting our traditional systems, and also in understanding the logic and wisdom of our ancestors with due respect to them.
